Job Title: Maintenance MechanicJob Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic where you'll perform preventive and proactive maintenance to prevent equipment breakdowns, involving electronics, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical maintenance work. You will be responsible for repairing or maintaining the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery and equipment, including cappers, labelers, filling machines, palletizers, conveyors, and packers. Utilize the CMMS system to manage work orders and spare parts, ensuring efficient plant operations.

ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and proactive maintenance on a variety of equipment to prevent breakdowns.Repair and maintain industrial production or processing machinery, including assembly, disassembly, and replacement of parts as necessary.Utilize the CMMS to open and close out work orders and manage spare parts.Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems.Perform inspections and utilize hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance techniques.Essential Skills3+ years of experience in the industrial food manufacturing industry.Maintenance experience working on conveyors.Strong electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair skills.2 years of PLC troubleshooting experience.Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Additional Skills & QualificationsWelding skills are a plus.Experience with SAP is advantageous.Familiarity with CMMS is beneficial.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a union facility that may be hot, especially during the summer, and involves getting hands-on with machinery. The plant employs 125 union and 20 hourly employees. The maintenance team consists of 2 supervisors and 1 planner. Shifts are continental on 3rd shift with a pattern of 4 days on, 3 days off, 3 days on, 4 days off, from 6 PM to 6:30 AM. Training will be on the 1st shift for 2-3 months. Due to the union environment, call-out coverage may require additional availability.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $67912.00 - $69992.00/yr.
