Hours: 2nd shift 6:00 pm to 6:30 am

Works with guidance from upper level mechanics to perform routine inspections and monitoring of all production equipment.Performs data entry into Computer Maintenance Management SystemsWorks with guidance from more senior mechanics to prepare unscheduled work orders to support production requirementsRemains current in training expectationsKeeps work environment clean and safeAble to follow direction for basic assembly and repair of equipment.Works with other maintenance mechanics on projects and rebuilds Complete paperwork for check lists, work orders, and other documentationAt end of shift, secures all equipment, performs general housekeeping duties and completes and maintains work records on CMMSProactively learns the lines and works with more senior mechanics to initiate corrective actions that circumvent downtimeRegularly lifts and/or moves up to 50 poundsDemonstrates excellent communications skills; listens to other ideas and suggestionsWorks with honesty and integrity; upholds organizational valuesCorrectly enters time on Work OrdersDemonstrates a positive attitude and strong work ethicFollows all safety policies and practices; proactively identifies safety hazards and risksFollows all GMP and Food Safety Rules and RegulationsAll other duties as assigned
