As a Maintenance Mechanic, you’ll ensure the reliable operation of production machinery through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude and experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform emergency and scheduled maintenance on production equipmentConduct machine setup and troubleshoot mechanical issuesRead and interpret manuals and work orders for maintenance tasksRespond promptly to downtime and determine root causesAssist operators in maintaining OEM specificationsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaTrain and assist other maintenance team membersCommit to 5S housekeeping and comply with all safety proceduresRequired Skills & Qualifications:
3–5 years of experience in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsStrong troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical issuesExperience in bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fast-paced environmentsAbility to work in overhead structures and confined spacesHigh safety awareness and problem-solving abilityBasic computer skills; experience with MP2 maintenance software preferredWork EnvironmentManufacturing setting with large machines operating continuously. Physical role involving bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vineland, NJ.
