**Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to ensure the safety and efficiency of our warehouse's conveyor system. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing conveyor operations, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity. **Responsibilities** + Repair and maintain the conveyor system. + Provide information, data, and recommendations to anticipate and eliminate potential problems with conveyor operations. + Be on call and available to respond to all breakdowns or issues that interrupt conveyor system operation. + Determine if necessary repairs require outside mechanical personnel. + Perform other maintenance duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience with conveyors and conveyor maintenance. + Hydraulics and electrical troubleshooting. + Blueprint reading and schematic understanding. + PLC troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. + Ability to work with photo-eyes and troubleshoot sensors. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong mechanical aptitude. + High school diploma, GED, or maintenance certification program. + 2-3 years of previous maintenance or related experience, or equivalent education and experience. + Ability to regularly lift and move up to 60 pounds. **Why Work Here?** Join a strong, growing company with a direct placement opportunity. The facility is large with an extensive conveyor system and packaging equipment.
