**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to perform both daily preventative and reactive maintenance, ensuring that all production equipment is in optimal condition. You will maintain work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion while adhering to all safety regulations. This role provides skilled mechanical support across all areas of production and involves conducting machine setups, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance services. You will perform emergency and scheduled maintenance repairs, manage time efficiently to meet production goals, and work collaboratively as a team member to fulfill customer requirements. **Responsibilities** + Perform daily preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment. + Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. + Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures. + Provide skilled mechanical support across all areas of production. + Conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance services. + Perform emergency and scheduled maintenance repairs during machine downtime. + Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. + Respond promptly to machine downtime and determine causes. + Assist operators in measuring system variability and monitor measurements such as steam pressure and temperature. + Understand machine OEM specifications and follow procedures for routine functions. **Essential Skills** + Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in working with bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, levers, rigging, conveyors, cutters, blades, motors, couplings, gears, gearboxes, and air compressors. + 3 to 5 years of proven experience in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic fields. + Ability to demonstrate high proficiency in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic areas. + Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. + Problem-solving abilities and ability to predict potential future repair requirements. + Efficiency and cost-effectiveness in work. + Knowledge of TQM tools. + Ability to work well with all levels of personnel, individually or in a team environment. + Basic computer experience and operation. + High degree of precision with minimum tolerances. + Ability to climb overhead structures and work in confined spaces. + High safety consciousness. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values safety, teamwork, and precision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
