**MPI is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to support our 24/7 blow‑molding and plastic injection manufacturing facility. This role is critical to keeping production running safely, efficiently, and on schedule. We’re looking for mechanically inclined, reliable technicians who take pride in their work and thrive in a fast‑paced industrial environment.** **Position Overview** The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the service, repair, and maintenance of blow‑molding and plastic injection equipment. This includes performing preventive maintenance, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and general machinery repairs. Some tasks may require welding, fabrication, or part modification. Your work directly supports production uptime, equipment reliability, and on‑time delivery of customer orders. **Key Responsibilities** + Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment according to PM schedules + Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner + Troubleshoot blow‑molding and plastic injection machinery + Weld, fabricate, or modify parts as needed for repairs + Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and equipment manuals + Support production teams to ensure equipment is running safely and efficiently + Maintain accurate maintenance logs and data entry records + Work overtime, weekends, and extended shifts as required in a 24/7 operation **Required Skills & Experience** + 2–4+ years of industrial maintenance experience (mechanical + electrical) + 1+ year of manufacturing or production environment experience + Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability + Experience with blow‑molding or plastic injection equipment preferred + Ability to read schematics and perform PLC troubleshooting + Welding and fabrication experience is a plus + Basic computer skills and comfort with data entry **Soft Skills (Highly Valued)** + Strong work ethic and reliability + Positive attitude and growth mindset + Excellent attendance and punctuality + Team‑oriented with strong communication skills **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tracy, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $35.00/hr.
