Job Description
The Plant Maintenance Technician operates within the world's most advanced freeze dry technology, playing a crucial role in delivering high-quality products to customers. The ideal candidate is dedicated to food safety and quality, seeks continuous improvement, and is eager to work collaboratively.
Responsibilities
+ Perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.
+ Troubleshoot and repair equipment including boilers, chillers, vacuum pumps, water pumps, packaging equipment, ammonia refrigeration systems, and electrical systems up to 480V.
+ Apply mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills to troubleshoot and repair production machines.
+ Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
+ Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test equipment, and make necessary adjustments.
+ Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in maintenance technician work, including electrical, mechanical, and repair.
+ Proficiency in hydraulics, troubleshooting, and pneumatics.
+ Experience with ammonia refrigeration, vacuum pumps, water pumps, packaging equipment, and electrical repairs up to 480V.
+ Preventive maintenance and industrial PLC troubleshooting skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.
+ Knowledge of vacuum pumps.
+ Experience with water pumps.
+ Proficiency in packaging equipment maintenance.

Work Environment
The facility is extremely clean, with some areas being very cold. The current maintenance team comprises a manager and two technicians, with plans to expand to over 12 technicians by 2024. Work hours are from 6 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 6 PM to 6 AM, Monday through Thursday.

This is a Permanent position based out of Oak Creek, Wisconsin.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $68640.00/yr.
