Maintenance Mechanic $32/hr+

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our Sanitation Crew for both Mid-Shift and 3rd Shift positions. This role involves performing preventative maintenance on equipment such as boilers, hoses, and conveyors, as well as electrical troubleshooting and TIG welding.

Responsibilities

Conduct 60% preventative maintenance on equipment including boilers, hoses, and conveyors.Perform electrical troubleshooting, particularly with PLCs.Execute TIG welding tasks as required.Collaborate closely with the Quality Assurance Department to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.Adhere to safe lifting procedures and wear appropriate PPE, including hairnets.

Essential Skills

At least 1-3 years of general maintenance experience.Experience in refrigeration, 480 3-phase voltage electrical, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, air compressors, and welding.Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School diploma or GED.Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with team members.

Work Environment

Work in an extremely clean environment with temperatures regularly around 40-50 degrees. The position requires wearing personal protective equipment including hairnets. The shifts available are Mid-Shift from 1:30 PM to 10 PM and 3rd Shift from 10 PM to 6:30 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Zanesville, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.35 - $32.35/hr.
