Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on packaging machines. This position is initially offered as a 6-month contract with potential for permanent hire.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on packaging machines.Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including manual machines.Work with various packaging machines such as Mespacks, Protopacks, Volpaks, and Allpacks.Ensure the efficient operation of 42 packaging machines, with particular attention to the 4 machines that operate 24/7.Conduct electrical and mechanical repairs as needed.Essential Skills
Minimum of 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in troubleshooting production equipment.Experience with manual machines to manufacture parts on the spot.Knowledge of electrical systems.Experience with packaging machines is highly desirable.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; Associate degree or technical certifications preferred.Experience working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is a plus.Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving history.Understanding and working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), electrical troubleshooting, process controls, digital logic systems, basics of robotics, reading schematics and symbols, and advanced electronics including three-phase, AC/DC circuits.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a clean, organized warehouse environment with portions of the facility climate-controlled. While no manufacturing is done on-site, the facility focuses on receiving products in bulk and packaging them individually.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $66560.00/yr.
