Job Description
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for working independently on the night shift after completing training on the day shift. The role involves performing preventative and corrective maintenance on various metal working machines, including CNC cutting machines, welding and automated equipment, grinders, and transformers, in an older industrial facility that manufactures tanks. Responsibilities extend to troubleshooting and repairing gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and performing maintenance on PLCs, VFDs, and other automated machinery. Additional duties include facility maintenance tasks such as painting, cleaning, HVAC, plumbing, and lighting changes. The pay rate is around $30-34/hr!
Responsibilities
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on metal working machines, including CNC cutting machines, welding, and automated equipment.Troubleshoot and repair gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.Conduct maintenance on PLCs, VFDs, and other automated machinery.Perform facilities maintenance, including painting, cleaning, HVAC, plumbing, and lighting.Work independently on the night shift after completing initial training on the day shift.Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.Experience performing preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial manufacturing machinery.Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance, including gearboxes, pneumatics, and hydraulics.Experience with electrical systems ranging from low to high voltage (220v - 480v).Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, welding, and facilities maintenance.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with HVAC systems is a plus.Welding skills are advantageous.Understanding of lockout tagout procedures.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The role involves working in a heavy industrial environment in an older facility with an outside open-air shop covered by a roof. Conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, and dusty. The current day shift training schedule is 6am-2:45pm, Monday to Friday. Night shifts are scheduled from 4:30pm to 3:15am, Monday to Thursday, but may change based on the maintenance manager's preferences. The production night shift includes hours on Friday and Saturday, with the potential for overtime depending on skill level and adaptation speed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
