The position is working with a Maintenance Mechanic and being an assistant to the Maint. Team. We have openings on 1st/ 3rd. The pay ranges based on experience and skill. Looking for people familiar with hand tools, power tools and want a career.
Responsibilities
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly preventive maintenance on all assigned equipment.Complete preventive maintenance logs on assigned equipment.Conduct general maintenance on production equipment as needed.Assist in installing new equipment within the facility.Collaborate with outside general contractors on special projects and maintenance programs.Monitor and maintain a spare part inventory for assigned equipment.Keep the shop and stockroom clean and orderly.Maintain shop equipment in safe operating condition.Assist in maintaining inventory and part checkout sheets.Ensure company tools are kept in good working condition and returned to their proper place after use.Assist co-workers when needed.Essential Skills

Work Environment
The work environment involves both inside and outside conditions, with exposure to extreme heat, noise, vibrations, and moving mechanical parts. Employees may encounter electrical currents, chemicals, and atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, and dust. The maintenance team consists of approximately 15 people within a plant of about 110 employees. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, a hair net, jeans, and a clear shirt. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 7am-3pm, with one opening available.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hagerstown, Maryland.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $20.25/hr.
