**Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician** Job Description Join our team as a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician, where you will oversee the installation and maintenance of industrial equipment. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment, including new installations, regular services, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns. Responsibilities + Read and interpret engineering blueprints. + Install new production equipment. + Service and maintain equipment including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and production-related equipment. + Inspect and assess the functionality of production machines. + Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns. + Adjust mechanical parts using hand and machine tools. + Fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades. + Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks. + Communicate with the production team and maintain a clean work area. + Prepare and submit maintenance reports. Work Environment Work in a cleanroom environment with areas housing larger presses. Flexible shifts available: 1st shift is Monday to Thursday from 5am to 3:30pm and Friday from 5am to 1:30pm; 2nd shift is Monday to Thursday from 3pm to 1:30am and Friday from 12pm to 8:30pm. We prefer candidates who are flexible with a wide range of hours. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $40.00/hr.
