**Maintenance Mechanic At Thorne Research** **Location:** 620 Omni Industrial Blvd, Summerville, SC 29486 Thursday- Saturday 12 hour Shifts: 5pm- 6am Pay: 64k – 71k (30-32) **Job Summary** Thorne Research, Inc. is seeking experienced **Maintenance Mechanics** to support the maintenance, operation, and repair of production-related systems and equipment. This role is critical to ensuring equipment reliability, compliance with cGMP standards, and operational efficiency in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment. **Key Responsibilities** + Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment. + Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and perform equipment adjustments and change-outs. + Maintain equipment in validated state and ensure maximum availability. + Ensure all work complies with SOPs and manufacturer service guidelines. + Keep equipment areas inspection-ready, clean, safe, and compliant with cGMP. + Coordinate with contractors for equipment repairs, modifications, and installations. + Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams on system upgrades. + Support facility modification, capacity expansion, and efficiency improvement projects. + Report equipment damage or potential issues promptly. + Maintain punctuality, complete tasks on time, and work overtime as needed. + Demonstrate initiative by suggesting improvements and innovative solutions. **Required Skills & Qualifications** + Minimum 2-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. + Proficient in mechanical maintenance and repair of production equipment. + Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical issues and performing adjustments. + Ability to perform scheduled preventative maintenance. + Familiarity with cGMP compliance and standards. + Experience with facilities equipment and utilities maintenance. + Technical degree or certificate preferred. + Bckground in Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Food Manufacturing is a plus. **Employee Value Proposition (EVP)** + Competitive compensation + 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance + Company-paid short- and long-term disability and life insurance + 401(k) with employer match up to 4% + Gym membership reimbursement + Monthly allowance of Thorne supplements + Paid time off, volunteer time off, and holiday leave + Training, professional development, and career growth opportunities + Safe, clean, climate-controlled work environment **Work Environment** + Climate-controlled and food-grade clean manufacturing facility + Collaborative and safety-focused culture **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $64480.00 - $70720.00/yr.
