**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in a dynamic food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will excel in preventative maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting for production and packaging equipment. Responsibilities + Perform preventative maintenance on production and packaging equipment and machinery. + Diagnose and repair mechanical issues or inefficiencies. + Conduct electrical troubleshooting and minor repairs as needed. + Assist with the installation of new machinery and equipment. + Maintain and upkeep facility during downtime. + Engage in welding and fabrication for new parts and repairs. Essential Skills + Experience in industrial maintenance. + Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems. + Proficiency in preventative and corrective maintenance. + Basic computer skills for data entry. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in a food facility is a bonus. + Welding and fabrication skills are advantageous but not required. + Understanding of PLCs, VFDs, and Ladder Logic is a plus. Work Environment Our facility operates under GMPs as a food manufacturing plant, with specific dress codes including blue jeans and plain t-shirts, along with hair nets and beard nets when necessary. The work environment includes varied conditions such as a refrigerated area (35-40 degrees), a freezer, and a hot bakery area. The position offers shifts from 6am - 2:30pm for 1st shift, 2pm - 10:30pm for 2nd shift, and 10pm - 6:30am for 3rd shift. Maintenance staff will be required to work every other weekend. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Kenosha, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $79000.00/yr.
