Maintenance Mechanic
Paying $28 / HR - $40 / HR
Location - Portland, OR
Responsibilities:
Install, adjust, and repair production equipment and special-purpose machines as assignedOperate a variety of hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts, and complete tasks as assignedTest malfunctioning machinery, troubleshoot and determine repairs, and discuss with plant supervisor for approval and repair as neededReplace faulty parts, electrical wires, motors, controls, and circuit boardsObserve mechanical devices and equipment and listen to sounds to determine proper functioning or identify causes of troubleOther duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as neededQualifications:
Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals and follow step by step instructionsMechanical aptitude and ability are essentialKnowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, electricity or related field preferredLift tools, machinery parts and other objects weighing up to 80 pounds eachEnvironment/ Shift:
Small dusty shop with 5 people in production. Lots of conveyor systems, a dryer/tumbler, tall silos that store the material, bagging machines, and stacking/palletizing machines. Day shift: 7am - 5:30pm (hours are subject to change based on the needs of the shop)After 90 days, transition to 2pm - 12:30am.Employee Value Proposition:

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
