Our client, a food company, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. **Job Title:** Maintenance Mechanic **Location:** Brunswick, Georgia **Pay Range:** $26-$32/hr **Shift:** Friday-Monday 6am-4:30pm **What’s the Job?** Perform basic mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic repair and preventive maintenance on all plant equipment, and structure of the facility. **What’s Needed?** + Troubleshooting and diagnosis and repair of mechanical and electrical failures.Assures preventive maintenance program is conducted on all plant equipment. + Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment in a timely manner to minimize downtime. + Perform welding, cutting and soldering using electric and gas equipment. + Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. + Duties may involve: pipe fitting; boiler making; insulating; welding; machining; carpentry; installing, aligning and balancing new equipment; and repairing buildings, floors, freezers or stairs. **What’s in it for me?** + Competitive pay + Comprehensive benefits + Positive company culture **_If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
