Maintenance Mechanic
**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic - Paying up to $36/hr!** **Job Description** In this role, the Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring the safety and health of themselves and their team while working in the surrounding area. The individual will participate in all safety activities and support and maintain ISO 9001 activities, ensuring that required processes are adhered to. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and general fabrication and installation of machines, tools, and equipment. Additionally, the mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance of the facility, grounds, and utility systems, working with management to ensure compliance with environmental and government regulations. **Responsibilities** + Ensure the safety and health of self and team in the surrounding area. + Participate in all safety activities. + Support and maintain ISO 9001 activities and required processes. + Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and fabricate machines, tools, and equipment. + Maintain facility, grounds, and utility systems. + Work with management to ensure environmental and regulatory compliance. + Execute preventative maintenance programs on parts inventory, machinery, tools, and equipment. + Maintain and repair machinery, mechanical equipment, motors according to diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications. + Perform additional duties and responsibilities as requested. **Essential Skills** + Troubleshooting and repair experience in a manufacturing environment. + Experience with mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and preventive maintenance. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and hand tools. + Experience with PLC troubleshooting, maintenance repair, 3-phase motors, and equipment maintenance. + Mechanical aptitude and electrical troubleshooting skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + A minimum of three to five years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. + Skilled in mechanical, troubleshooting, and electrical systems in a manufacturing setting. + Proficient in reading, writing, and effective communication. + Ability to interpret and apply safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and regulatory requirements. + Capability to write routine reports and correspondence. + Mathematical proficiency in basic algebra and geometry. + Proficient in computer software such as Outlook, Word, and Excel. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Experience operating various office machines. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values safety and compliance, while providing opportunities for professional growth. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
