**Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced specialist within the Facilities Industrial Repair & Maintenance field. The role involves applying your acquired job skills and company policies to complete assigned tasks effectively. You will work on assignments that are semi-routine but require occasional deviation from standard practices. **Responsibilities** + Conduct scheduled maintenance and manage breakdowns of production equipment. + Assist with the setup and changeover of production lines as needed. + Fabricate machine parts as required. + Assemble machines as necessary. + Read and interpret blueprints. + Mechanically repair conveyors, screw machines, presses, cold headers, and threaders. **Essential Skills** + 5-7 years of mechanical and electrical experience (60/40 mechanical). + Skills in electrical troubleshooting, maintenance techniques, mechanical maintenance, and repair. + Proficiency in pneumatics, hydraulics, and blueprint interpretation. + Fabrication and metal parts repair expertise. + Experience with welding, industrial maintenance, and PLC troubleshooting. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Preferred experience with metals. + Demonstrated ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams. + Proven ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment mechanically. + Knowledge of basic welding and cutting procedures. + Correct use of machinist measurement tools. + Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and excellent time management skills. + Positive attitude and good judgment. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy working in a brand new, renovated facility with a supportive work environment. Employees are encouraged to wear OMG uniforms to protect their personal attire. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Addison, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $93600.00/yr.
