Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic with an industrial experience and a well-rounded mechanical aptitude. This role involves breakdown, repairing, replacing, or installing industrial maintenance equipment and machinery. You will be responsible for tasks such as tear down, staging, set up, assembly and disassembly, and assisting with conveyer systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Additionally, you will be involved in building structures that house various watercraft vehicles for their transport in and out of water.

ResponsibilitiesBreak down, repair, replace, and install industrial maintenance equipment and machinery.Perform tear down, staging, set up, assembly, and disassembly tasks.Assist with conveyer systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.Build structures to house various watercraft vehicles.Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.Essential SkillsExperience in industrial or commercial maintenance.Proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems.Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience as a Maintenance Technician or Industrial Electrician.Familiarity with terminators and troubleshooting.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work indoors in a large, brand-new, and clean facility. The typical work schedule is from 6 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, with most Saturdays required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Suffolk, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
