**Job Title: Machinery Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Machinery Mechanic for our 2nd shift, with an opportunity to transition to the 3rd shift. Being bilingual is a significant advantage **Responsibilities** + Perform tasks such as Lock Out/Tag Out and Confined Space procedures. + Follow a strict Preventive Maintenance Schedule. + Troubleshoot and repair large machines and support equipment as directed by the maintenance supervisor. + Respond promptly to calls from the production team to restore and adjust machines, ensuring product runs at expected rates. + Adhere to established processes, perform preventive maintenance tasks, and assist with changeovers as needed. + Work required overtime to complete repairs and minimize machine downtime. + Demonstrate basic electrical understanding, including working with voltages up to 480v, as well as 110 & 220. + Utilize mechanical and electrical blueprints and machinery manuals effectively. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience focusing on mechanical and electro-mechanical systems. + Proficiency in troubleshooting and mechanical repairs. + Experience with preventive maintenance schedules. + Basic electrical knowledge up to 480v. + Independent and problem-solving mindset. + Technical/College degree preferred, HS/GED required. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Well-rounded industrial knowledge and experience in multiple areas of repair. + Experience with tools and machines such as lathe, presses, band saws, hand tools, pipefitting, welding, brazing, burring, and air compressors/HVAC systems. + Familiarity with complex machines like unwinding machines for paper products. + Patience required for machines sensitive to high changeovers and adjustments. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy competitive pay and comprehensive benefits starting on your first day, including healthcare, vision, and dental insurance. **Work Environment** Work the 2nd shift (Monday-Friday) from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am, with initial training on the 1st shift (Monday-Friday) from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. **Job Type** This is a Permanent position **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
