**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated 3rd shift Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventative and reactive mechanical and basic electrical maintenance on a variety of equipment including band saws, cut-off saws, horizontal contour cutters, laser cutters, presses, slitters, grinders, glue machines, rollers, conveyors, and robotic systems. The role involves mechanical troubleshooting and repairs of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, gears, bearings, and fans, as well as basic electrical maintenance tasks. **Responsibilities** + Conduct preventative maintenance by lubricating, greasing, and checking equipment components for wear and potential problems. + Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repair tasks on hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, gears, bearings, and fans. + Apply basic electrical knowledge to tasks involving 480v 3-phase systems, including LOTO, volt meter usage, and replacement of breakers, fuses, and sensors. + Utilize fabrication skills to weld, bend, cut, and straighten metal as needed. + Log work orders, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks using a tablet. + Train on 1st shift initially before transitioning to 3rd shift. **Essential Skills** + Proven experience in preventative maintenance including lubrication and greasing techniques. + Mechanical troubleshooting aptitude with a strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, gears, bearings, and fans. + Basic electrical knowledge and skills handling up to 480v 3-phase systems. + Own basic hand tools and tool box; power and specialty tools are provided. + Proficiency in math and ability to read a tape measure. + Competence in using a tablet for logging jobs and work orders. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience. + Journeyman Millwright certification. + Fabrication experience, including welding and metalworking. + Knowledge of PLC systems, specifically Allen Bradley and Siemens. **Why Work Here** We offer an outstanding benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, 401k, life insurance, FSA, and short/long-term disability coverage. There is a small chemical smell in one specific area of the plant where ingredients are mixed to make foam. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
