Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic for the 2nd shift. The primary responsibilities include performing both preventative and reactive mechanical and basic electrical maintenance on a variety of equipment such as band saws, cut-off saws, horizontal contour cutters, laser cutters, up to 20-ton presses, slitters, 400HP grinders, glue machines, rollers, conveyors, and ABB/Fanuc/Motoman Robots. The role requires mechanical troubleshooting and repairs of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, gears, bearings, and fans, as well as basic electrical tasks involving 480v 3-phase systems.
ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance tasks including lubing, greasing, and checking components for wear and problems.Conduct mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on hydraulics, pneumatics, motors (up to 400 HP), gears, bearings, and fans.Handle basic electrical tasks such as using a volt meter, checking and replacing breakers, fuses, and sensors.Understand and implement Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.Log work orders, repairs, and PMs using a tablet.Possess fabrication experience including welding, bending, cutting, and straightening metal.Essential SkillsExperience in preventative maintenance, including lubing, greasing, and checking components.Mechanical troubleshooting skills for hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, gears, bearings, and fans.Basic electrical knowledge up to 480v 3-phase, including LOTO procedures.Ability to use a volt meter and replace breakers, fuses, and sensors.Possess own basic hand tools and tool box (power/specialty tools provided).Good math skills and ability to read a tape measure.Ability to use a tablet for logging jobs.Additional Skills & Qualifications3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.Journeyman Millwright certification.Fabrication experience including welding, bending, cutting, and straightening metal.Knowledge of PLCs such as Allen Bradley and Siemens.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
