**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Pay: 30/hr ($1 shift premium)** **Shift: 3rd (11pm-7am)** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to perform maintenance on industrial machines, including electro-plating equipment, CNC machines, and chemical tanks. The role involves executing preventative maintenance according to schedules, conducting minor plumbing repairs, calibrating process instruments, maintaining inventory of maintenance parts, repairing industrial hydraulic and pneumatic systems, performing fabrication duties, understanding electrical systems, and undertaking basic facilities maintenance. **Responsibilities** + Perform maintenance on industrial machines including electro-plating equipment, CNC machines, and chemical tanks. + Conduct preventative maintenance according to the maintenance schedule. + Execute minor plumbing repairs involving PVC, Steel, and Copper. + Change and calibrate process instruments. + Assist in maintaining maintenance parts inventory. + Repair industrial hydraulic and pneumatic systems. + Perform fabrication duties as needed. + Understand basic electrical systems and read schematics, primarily focusing on running wires. + Grasp the concepts of AC & DC systems. + Undertake basic facilities maintenance as required. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience. + Troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. + Ability to read blueprints and schematics. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience around waste water or chemical tank systems. + Plumbing experience (PVC, Steel, Copper). **Why Work Here?** Join a secure company offering great benefits such as 401k, PTO, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans. Shift hours are slightly flexible to accommodate candidates' needs. Initial training will occur on the 1st shift for 4-6 weeks based on the candidate's previous experience. You will be the sole maintenance technician on your shift post-training. The role is located in a 100,000 sq ft electro-plating manufacturing facility in Strongsville, OH, where you will work in an industrial environment with exposure to chemicals and waste waters. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Strongsville, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
