Maintenance Mechanic

Preferred Experience:

Heavy Equipment Mechanics: experience with repairing/troubleshooting motors, pumps, and hydraulic components.Industrial Mechanics: experience working on conveyors and motors.Mechanics coming from manufacturing/production environments.

Job Description:

Troubleshoot equipment and facility problems and perform immediate repairsPerform prescribed preventive maintenance on equipmentPerform preventative, corrective and emergency mechanical maintenance on all equipment throughout the plant under the direction of the Plant Manager such as welding, piping and refurbish equipmentIdentify, troubleshoot and repair mechanical malfunctions throughout the plant which includes documenting problem and resolution as well as reporting all problems and resolutions of mechanical malfunctions to the Plant ManagerPerform fire guard duty as well as confined space watchParticipate and complete training programs within the time frame allottedPerform any general work or other assignments necessary to ensure the safe, clean, and efficient operation of the facility to include sweeping, shoveling, and other housekeeping activitiesMaintain work tools and ensure work tools are put in appropriate secure place after usingPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
