**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic for a direct placement on the 3rd shift. You will be responsible for performing all aspects of mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as maintaining conveyors, motors, and gearboxes. Your role will also involve fabricating and installing replacement parts for machinery. **Responsibilities** + Perform all aspects of mechanical maintenance. + Troubleshoot mechanical problems. + Conduct hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting. + Perform hands-on troubleshooting and turn wrenches. + Maintain conveyors, mechanical equipment, motors, and gearboxes. + Disassemble and reassemble machines. + Install replacement parts on machinery. + Fabricate new parts for machines. + Setup and operate machine shop tools, including mills and lathes. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 2 years of experience in a machine shop setting, performing maintenance on mills and lathes, or machining. + Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills. + Experience with machine repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventive maintenance. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience with manual machining, including mills and lathes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Preferably an associate's degree in maintenance, but not required. + Must have steel toe boots. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. + Strong job tenure, with at least 3 years of tenure at each company, although less tenure may be considered with valid reasons and references. **Why Work Here?** Employees have access to an onsite clinic for themselves and their immediate families, along with comprehensive insurance packages covering health, vision, and dental, and a 401K plan. Employees are provided with uniforms, steel toe boots are required, and safety prescription glasses are provided every two years if needed. The 3rd shift operates from Sunday to Thursday nights, from 10:50 PM to 6:50 AM, with a $1.50 night shift differential. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Franklin, Kentucky. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $64064.00 - $64064.00/yr. onsite medical clinic that they c& their family can go to.
