Maintenance Mechanic
**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for all maintenance on industrial equipment. This role involves performing preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, ensuring the continuous operation of converting equipment and lines, participating in process improvement initiatives, and implementing technical solutions. Proficiency in using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, dial indicators, and multimeters is essential. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on all industrial equipment. + Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to ensure continuous operation. + Ensure converting equipment and production lines run constantly. + Participate in manufacturing process improvement initiatives. + Perform all necessary repairs and implement technical solutions. **Essential Skills** + 1+ years of industrial maintenance experience working on hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors. + Experience with 3-phase motors. + Comfortable with changeovers, setups, fillers, pumps, and valves. + Proficiency in using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, dial indicators, and multimeters. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED. + 3+ years working in a GMP environment preferred. + Computer proficiency in MS Office. + Minimum 5 years related manufacturing experience in an FDA facility preferred. + Previous experience in GMP or food manufacturing is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join a stable company with great benefits, including an ESOP program. This is a liquid filling facility, and candidates with experience in liquid filling or packaging, particularly from the food and beverage industry, are preferred due to the FDA-regulated environment. Candidates should be prepared for strong odors in the facility, such as mouth wash, lotion, or alcohol, depending on the department. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Smyrna, Tennessee. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
