Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic 3rd shift

Job Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic, where you will utilize your expertise in automation and PLC systems to ensure the smooth operation of equipment. Your role will involve troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems to support our production processes.

Shift: This position will be supporting the overnight shift, that is on a 2-2-3 rotation shift 6:00pm-6:00am upon completion of a short 1st shift training period.

Pay range: is based off overall relating skills & experience; paying between $30-38.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment using blueprints and schematics.Utilize multimeters and voltmeters to identify and resolve electrical issues.Work with PLCs, VFDs, vision systems, and sensors to maintain automated systems.Test and troubleshoot air power systems and drives.Change out motors and perform hands-on maintenance tasks.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.Experience with automation systems, including PLCs and VFDs.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Skilled in using multimeters and voltmeters for diagnostic purposes.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with vision systems and testing of air power systems.Comfortable working in a hands-on environment and performing physical tasks.

Work Environment

This position operates on a 3rd shift with a 12-hour rotating schedule (C-Shift) from 6pm to 6:15am. Employees receive a shift differential of $2.50-$3.50. The role involves working in an injection mold company environment with a focus on automation and PLC systems.
