Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic-2nd Shift to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the operations department supporting the maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Maintenance Mechanic-2nd Shift
**Location:** Salem, MA
**Pay Range:** $23.00 - $37.00
**What's the Job?**
+ Troubleshoots and diagnoses all maintenance failures to ensure efficient operation of plant equipment.
+ Utilizes assembly drawings, P&IDs, and manuals to tune equipment for optimal performance.
+ Applies electrical and logic principles to solve equipment problems, including working with VFDs, SCRs, and PLCs.
+ Maintains a safe and orderly work area in accordance with GMP and Safety guidelines.
+ Trains new associates and team members on required skill sets for maintenance tasks.
**What's Needed?**
+ Ability to perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic repairs.
+ Basic knowledge of plumbing, metal working, and general facilities maintenance.
+ Experience working with operating devices such as gauges, RTDs, and pressure transmitters.
+ Strong communication skills for effective training and collaboration with team members.
+ Willingness to assist operations associates with basic equipment troubleshooting.
