CAREER OPPORTUNITY
As a Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for providing expertise and leadership to the maintenance staff while ensuring the safe maintenance, repair, and/or replacement of Smurfit Westrock’s mill assets. The Maintenance Manager is also responsible for maintenance of the buildings, conducting/scheduling training of the workforce as required, and ensures company guidelines/policies are adhered to.
HOW YOU WILL IMPACT SMURFIT WESTROCK
Leads the Equipment Reliability Program and facilitates the process so that it is followed by Department Managers. Supports the operating departments to maintain reliable operation and cost effective maintenance and engineering programs.Maintains building(s) and equipment. Direct the maintenance and engineering department's safety programs and activities.Monitor and control maintenance repairs and capital expenditures. Assign, delegate and support subordinate personnel to effectively accomplish engineer and maintenance work. Establish budgets, monitor and control cost within area of responsibility. Maintain an appropriate staff of qualified personnel through approved hiring, training and performance evaluations.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field of study10 years of experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
