**Job Title: Maintenance Manager**
**Job Description**
This is a dynamic hands-on managerial role in which you will perform maintenance and repair duties while managing departmental operations, including budgeting, KPI achievement, and maintenance planning. You will ensure the uptime and reliability of equipment and automated systems, overseeing a small team in the maintenance department.
**Responsibilities**
+ Act as a working manager by performing hands-on maintenance and repair while managing departmental operations.
+ Perform industrial maintenance on automated machinery such as robotic weld cells, material handling, and assembly equipment.
+ Conduct mechanical maintenance on machinery, including repair of hydraulics and pneumatics.
+ Machine and fabricate parts using Bridgeport mills and lathes.
+ Monitor operational metrics and analyze data to ensure equipment and process efficiency.
+ Troubleshoot unforeseen issues and resolve manufacturing process breakdowns.
+ Review and enforce safety procedures for production floor personnel.
+ Assist with equipment layout design and planning.
+ Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
+ Estimate capital costs for new maintenance equipment and services.
+ Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules based on manufacturer recommendations.
+ Perform maintenance on malfunctioning machines or coordinate with manufacturers for repairs.
+ Manage departmental budget and oversee personnel across shifts if needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years of mechanical maintenance/machine repair experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, servos, and air cylinders.
+ 3+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience on automated machinery such as robotic weld cells, material handling, and assembly stations.
+ Proficient in machining and fabrication, specifically using Bridgeport mills or lathes.
+ Experience with maintenance supervision and management.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 3+ years of prior industrial maintenance management or supervision experience in a lead, supervisor, or manager role.
+ Prior experience working specifically with the person Robotic Weld Cells.
+ Proficient in PLC troubleshooting and electrical maintenance, including understanding control panels, up to 480 volts, three-phase electric motors, wiring, and sensors.

This is a Permanent position based out of Utica, MI.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $104000.00/yr.
