Maintenance Manager
**Job Title: Maintenance Manager - $130k - $140k** Job Description As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the hiring, firing, and training of a maintenance team. You will direct and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in the repair, maintenance, and installation of machinery. Additionally, you will develop preventive maintenance programs and direct maintenance activities on utility systems to ensure a continuous supply of essential resources. Responsibilities + Hire, fire, and train maintenance team members. + Coordinate activities of workers fabricating or modifying machines, tools, or equipment. + Develop a preventive maintenance program in collaboration with engineering and maintenance staff. + Direct training programs to enhance worker performance. + Inspect operating machines and equipment for compliance with operational standards. + Plan, develop, and implement methods and procedures to improve operations and reduce costs. + Prepare and monitor the department budget. + Determine work priorities based on job orders. + Discuss equipment needs and modifications with design engineers for new product plans. + Review production, quality control, and maintenance reports to adjust maintenance activities. + Manage spare parts and tool inventory. + Schedule repair, maintenance, and installation activities to maintain continuous production. Essential Skills + Maintenance management and supervision. + PLC troubleshooting. + Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. + Experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS). + Ability to read and interpret schematics.
