A manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a high-performing maintenance team, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance across the facility. This role is pivotal in driving cost control, managing infrastructure and equipment, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a high-performing maintenance team through performance reviews, one-on-one meetings, and oversee hiring, termination, and succession planning.Foster employee growth with targeted training, goal setting, and cross-training initiatives.Ensure effective labor scheduling, work assignments, and quality control through audits.Approve timecards and time-off requests, enforce company policies, and maintain open communication via regular team meetings.Champion a safety-first culture aimed at zero incidents, maintaining all required documentation for regulatory compliance, including hazardous waste management.Investigate OSHA-related incidents and implement corrective actions.Oversee Lockout Tagout and Confined Space training programs, ensuring documentation and execution meet regulatory standards.Design and execute preventative maintenance plans and maintain a critical asset list with monthly performance reports.Manage maintenance records and departmental invoices, utilizing CMMS tools to track and report KPIs.Collaborate with Engineering leadership to align departmental goals, agendas, and procedures.Oversee the lifecycle of facility infrastructure and equipment, coordinating with external contractors for routine maintenance and construction projects.Support capital expenditure planning and budgeting efforts.Ensure timely and effective maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and production equipment to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.Essential SkillsMaintenance management and leadership experience.Proficiency in CMMS tools and KPI tracking.Experience with budgeting and project management.Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance.Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience.Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to interpret technical instructions and solve practical problems.Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., use hand tools, and work in varied postures for extended periods.Comfortable working near mechanical parts, fumes, and moderate noise levels.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $92000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
