**Job Title: Maintenance Manager** **Job Description** We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to join our team in Union City, CA. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of technicians, ensuring our production equipment operates efficiently and complies with food and workplace safety standards. Your expertise will help reduce downtime, enhance equipment performance, and support daily operations and improvement initiatives at our site. **Responsibilities** + Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities. + Troubleshoot technical issues to minimize production downtime. + Monitor equipment performance and enhance reliability. + Lead and support a team of maintenance technicians. + Ensure all maintenance work complies with HACCP and GMP safety regulations. + Manage maintenance budgets and coordinate with external contractors. + Identify and implement process and equipment improvements. + Contribute to new installations, upgrades, and automation projects. + Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams. + Manage and submit environmental State & Federal Regulatory Reports. + Perform other related tasks as required. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in preventive maintenance and maintenance management. + Experience with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. + PLC troubleshooting skills, specifically with Allen Bradley PLCs. + Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. + Familiarity with boiler, chillers, and HVAC systems. + Experience with VFDs, tangible/tentacle pumps, Wilden pumps, air compressors, dryers, silos, and mixing tanks. + Experience with MVP1 for CMMS and Intelex and Alchemy for training protocols. + Proficiency in Microsoft Suite. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in the food industry. + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience. + Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus. + Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. + Collaborative, open, and straightforward communication style. **Why Work Here?** Join a large company that offers growth and stability, providing ample opportunities for career advancement. **Work Environment** The role is based in a food manufacturing environment focusing on chocolate and other sweet products.
