Job Title: Maintenance Manager
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Maintenance Manager to join our team in Union City, CA. This role requires a candidate with a stable work history, demonstrating commitment with less than three positions in five years. As a Maintenance Manager, you will lead a small team of technicians, ensuring that our production equipment operates efficiently and adheres to high standards of food and workplace safety. You will play a critical role in minimizing downtime, enhancing equipment performance, and supporting daily operations and improvement projects at our facility.

ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.Troubleshoot technical issues to minimize production downtime.Monitor equipment performance and enhance its reliability.Lead and support a team of maintenance technicians.Ensure all maintenance work meets food safety (HACCP, GMP) and safety regulations.Manage maintenance budgets and coordinate with external contractors.Identify and implement process and equipment improvements.Contribute to new installations, upgrades, and automation projects.Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams.Manage and submit all environmental State & Federal Regulatory Reports.Essential Skills5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting, with food industry experience being a plus.Proven experience in leading a small team with excellent people leadership skills.Strong expertise in preventive maintenance and scheduling.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.Effective communication style that is collaborative, open, and straightforward.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in preventive maintenance, maintenance management, electrical, mechanical systems.Skills in PLC troubleshooting, repair, pneumatics, and industrial maintenance supervision.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
