**Job Title: Maintenance Manager**
**Job Description**
This is a 1st shift position, where you will oversee a small team of 3 mechanics. The role involves creating, planning, directing, and coordinating maintenance processes within the building for operating shifts. You will provide expertise in the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
**Responsibilities**
+ Develop and maintain training programs to ensure correct operating procedures and maintenance routines.
+ Cultivate a Safety First culture, enforce safety rules, and promote safe work practices including 5S.
+ Maintain a spare parts inventory.
+ Maintain documentation and library on building, equipment assets, and grounds.
+ Define and execute plans with internal staff and external contractors for various trades and facility work.
+ Troubleshoot electrical issues and direct the work of others.
+ Create standard work instructions as needed.
+ Recommend technology, product changes, and workspace layout modifications to improve quality and efficiency.
+ Direct the operation and maintenance of facility systems and utilities including power, compressed air, vacuum, hydraulic, hydro, fire suppression, and energy conservation.
+ Develop, train, and implement TPM programs, promoting precision maintenance techniques.
+ Report on work assignments, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays.
+ Coordinate the purchase of special equipment, materials, or parts ensuring specifications and quality standards are met.
+ Create and assist with training programs for maintenance personnel.
+ Coordinate and supervise equipment repairs.
+ Flexibility to work off-shifts for observation, analysis, and training.
+ Delegate tasks and perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Extensive engineering knowledge with a solid electrical background.
+ Ability to work with and troubleshoot wiring diagrams, drawings, schematics, specifications, ladder logic, and electric circuit theory concepts, both AC and DC.
+ Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and share technical information with management.
+ Personnel management experience.
+ Ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunction, downtime, or stoppage.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field of study strongly preferred, or suitable experience.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Experience in investigating and reporting non-conformance, equipment calibration, and machine maintenance.
+ Practical hands-on experience with plastics processes, with knowledge of formulation changes impacting processing, is a plus.

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
