**Maintenance Machinist** **Job Description** **1st shift // $30-35 an hour** Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will serve as the primary resource for fabricating parts using manual mills and lathes. In this role, you will dedicate 70% of your time to maintenance duties and 30% to machining tasks, contributing to the smooth operation and upkeep of our packaging equipment. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of packaging equipment, specifically liquid packaging machines. + Machine parts using manual mills and lathes. + Engage in fabrication tasks. + Troubleshoot and wire motors up to 480V. + Utilize HMI programs for troubleshooting. + Conduct mechanical troubleshooting of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. + Replace, troubleshoot, and repair Photo Eyes. + Perform MIG and TIG welding along with fabrication. + Conduct preventative maintenance activities. + Operate the MRP system effectively. **Essential Skills** + Experience with manual mills and lathes. + Proficiency in maintenance and troubleshooting of packaging equipment. + Knowledge of wiring, welding, PLC, HMI, VFD, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working with operators. + Skills in welding and wiring. **Work Environment** Work in a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility spanning 200,000 sq. ft. The environment includes packaging machines, conveyors, and food processing machines. Enjoy a structured 1st shift schedule from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
