Maintenance Leader
Maintenance Leader City Coatzacoalcos State/Province Veracruz Overview:

The Maintenance Leader will be responsible to oversee and ensure the effective and efficient maintenance of plant equipment and facilities. This role is responsible for leading the maintenance team, planning and coordinating maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and availability, minimizing downtime, and ensuring safety and compliance with standards. The Maintenance Leader acts as a key link between maintenance, reliability, operations, and other departments to support continuous production and operational excellence.

Responsibilities: Planning and Scheduling: Developing and overseeing maintenance schedules to ensure timely and efficient maintenance activities.Team Leadership: Managing and supervising maintenance staff, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.Equipment Reliability: Ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of machinery and equipment through predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance.Budget Management: Managing maintenance budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing resource allocation.Safety Compliance: Enforcing safety standards and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.Coordination: Collaborating with production, operations, and other departments to minimize downtime and support operational goals.Problem Solving: Diagnosing and resolving complex maintenance issues and equipment failures.Reporting: Maintaining records and preparing reports on maintenance activities, equipment status, and performance metrics.Continuous Improvement: Implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and equipment reliability.Collaborate with 27/4 and maintenance expert teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Qualifications:

Education:

Mechanical or Civil EngineerCertification in maintenance, engineering, project management or a related field

Experience:

10 years of experience in maintenance roles.Experience in a leadership or supervisory position within maintenance or operations is often required

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instruments and/or industrial maintenance.Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS), society for maintenance & reliability professional (SMRP) and safety regulations.

Leadership Skills:

Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team.Good communication and organizational skills.

Other Qualifications:

Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.Knowledge of health, safety, and international engineering standards.
