Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Lead to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our building and plant equipment. You will work closely with the Manager to prioritize maintenance tasks and support the production team with setups and changeovers. Your role is pivotal in executing a preventative maintenance schedule, conducting repairs, and maintaining records to minimize production downtime.
ResponsibilitiesAssist the production team with setups and changeovers and provide operational support as needed.Execute a preventative maintenance schedule for machines and facilities equipment using the Fiix CMMS.Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance to reduce production interference and maximize uptime.Utilize preventative maintenance techniques to detect future malfunctions and diagnose issues.Install new or repaired parts in accordance with specifications and blueprints.Maintain records of issues and maintenance activities using the CMMS.Respond promptly to production line calls and communicate progress to managers or supervisors.Perform skilled assembly, repairs, and maintenance using equipment such as hand and power tools, hydraulic presses, and welding equipment.Adhere to food safety and quality production standards according to GMP, CFR, OSHA, FDA, and EPA regulations.Comply with all safety and quality regulations, and report issues immediately to a supervisor.Report food safety problems to a supervisor or the SQF Practitioner upon observation of a known or potential issue.Essential SkillsProficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.Experience with PLC troubleshooting and repair.Knowledge of GMP standards and conveyor maintenance.Ability to supervise and guide maintenance activities.Additional Skills & Qualifications5+ years of maintenance experience, ideally in a GMP environment.Strong skills in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a small but growing production facility with all equipment being less than 5 years old. The position is for the 2nd Shift, with hours from 2pm to 10:30pm, Monday to Saturday. Saturday work is optional, with more shifts expected during the week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Berlin, Wisconsin.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
