Job Description

As a Maintenance Helper/Trainee, you will support a team of experienced maintenance professionals and gain invaluable hands-on experience in maintenance mechanics and electrical work. Responsibilities
Assist the maintenance team by handling tasks they do not have time to complete.Perform various manual labor tasks, often involving dirty and challenging work.Receive training to become a maintenance mechanic/electrician, setting the foundation for career advancement.Be prepared to start work as early as 6 am or as late as 8 am, and stay until necessary to ensure machine functionality.Essential Skills
Basic mechanical skills and experience, ideally from an automotive or mechanical experience.Ability to work in hot and dirty environments.Willingness to work flexible hours as required by maintenance needs.Strong work ethic and resilience under pressure.Additional Skills & Qualifications
1 to 2 years of experience in maintenance or as a helper in skilled trades such as electrician, plumber, or carpenter.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a non-climate controlled welding shop surrounded by machinery. Be prepared for a physically demanding environment where getting dirty is part of the job. Shifts typically run from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with occasional extended hours as necessary.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00/hr.
