**Job Title: Maintenance Helper** **Job Description** As a Maintenance Helper, you will follow documented procedures and complete paperwork accurately. You will assist in the repair and upkeep of all company machinery, apply industrial lubricants, and utilize both basic hand tools and power tools. Additionally, you will be involved in the plant’s production equipment setup, execute screen changes and cleanouts, and assist in the maintenance of robotic, conveyor, and bagging systems. **Responsibilities** + Assist in the repair and upkeep of company machinery. + Apply industrial lubricants as per the PM system. + Use basic hand tools, power tools, and test equipment. + Involve in the plant’s production equipment setup. + Execute screen changes and cleanouts, and maintain screens and decks. + Assist in the maintenance of robotic, conveyor, and bagging systems. + Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment. + Operate a forklift and handle weights up to 75 pounds. + Work on weekends and during breakdowns as needed to maintain plant operations. **Essential Skills** + Knowledge of forklifts and troubleshooting. + Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. + Experience in loading and unloading trucks. + Mechanical repair and troubleshooting skills. + Proficiency in using hand and power tools. + Strong mechanical aptitude and general labor skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Tow motor certification is a plus. + Ability to be placed onto the maintenance team if technical aptitude is demonstrated. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values its employees, offering comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, along with a 401k and a great pension for the maintenance team.
