This position involves collaborating on automation projects to improve quality and efficiency in manufacturing. Responsibilities + Initiate and implement strategies to improve production processes, increasing productivity and manufacturing yields while reducing costs and scrap. + Collaborate on automation projects to enhance quality and manufacturing efficiency. + Write, execute, and document validation protocols for equipment and process validations, including IQ, OQ, and PQ. + Assist with the administration of the asset management system ensuring compliance with cGMP and quality regulations. + Work with cross-functional teams to create, maintain, and implement maintenance and calibration schedules. + Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and equipment, providing engineering support to resolve production issues. + Lead root cause investigations and troubleshoot issues to address root causes. + Recommend equipment purchases, repairs, upgrades, and schedule changes to improve manufacturing efficiency. + Schedule and supervise service contractor visits for repairs, maintenance, and calibration. + Design and develop manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures to meet production schedules while enhancing productivity and product quality. + Perform analyses on capacity, equipment efficiency, and labor utilization to optimize manufacturing processes. Essential Skills + Experience in preventative and corrective maintenance. + Knowledge of asset management and troubleshooting. + Proficiency as a maintenance technician and mechanical skills. + Associates or Bachelors degree with 2 or more years of relevant experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with automated assembly and/or lab equipment such as biological safety cabinets, centrifuges, and assembly or filling equipment. + Familiarity with FDA regulations, pharmaceutical, biotech, and automated equipment. Work Environment This position operates on the 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. It offers opportunities to transition to other roles within the company and potential for contract extension. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Cypress, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
