Maintenance Engineer

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - $70,000-$85,000/YR

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer for our 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a potential on-call requirement. This role involves working with industrial equipment and components, focusing 70% on electrical tasks and 30% on mechanical tasks. Located in the state of Ohio, this position offers competitive compensation.

Responsibilities

Install, replace, and troubleshoot industrial equipment and components.Troubleshoot and repair 480v and 3-phase motors.Perform strong PLC troubleshooting with Siemens and other systems.Program and maintain VFDs from manufacturers like Danfoss, SEW, Lenze, and Siemens.Read and interpret electrical schematics.Strip and rebuild CNC and manual machinery, including mechanical and pneumatic repairs.Fit and replace machine parts.Work with industrial networks.Troubleshoot and maintain robotics, such as Fanuc or Kuka systems.

Essential Skills

Electrical maintenance expertise with 480v and 3-phase systems.Experience in PLC and VFD troubleshooting.Automation and robotics experience, particularly with Fanuc.Strong mechanical skills, including hydraulics and pneumatics.Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, or 10+ years of equivalent experience.2+ years of experience in industrial automation and control systems, or 8+ years without a degree.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in the Precision Machining industry is advantageous.Experience with CNC machinery is preferred.AutoCAD knowledge is beneficial.Ability to create, read, modify, and manage AutoCAD drawings for electrical and mechanical systems.Skill in programming, calibrating, and troubleshooting Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).Capability to design, implement, and maintain industrial network systems.

Work Environment

Work in a large, clean, safe, and organized 800,000 sq ft facility that is climate-controlled with air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter. The facility offers two paid 10-minute breaks during shifts, and employees can eat at their workstations. Tobacco use is permitted, with a designated smoking area available.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $45.67/hr.
