Job Title: Stationary Engineer (Starting at $22+/hour!!)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Stationary Engineer with 1-3 years of boiler experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of materials, tools, and procedures associated with the Stationary Engineer trade and demonstrate competency at the journey level. While a NIULPE Class 4 License is not required initially, it is suggested, and candidates may obtain it after hiring with reimbursement provided.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain boiler systems and related equipment.Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.Perform preventive and facilities maintenance.Utilize basic mathematics to read gauges and keep accurate records.Follow written and oral instructions and communicate effectively.Climb and work from ladders as needed.Maintain records and prepare accurate reports concerning equipment operations.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, associates, and the general public.

Essential Skills

1-3 years of boiler experience.Competency in troubleshooting, mechanical, and HVAC systems.Ability to perform mechanical repairs, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.Knowledge of safety hazards and precautions associated with the Stationary Engineer trade.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

NIULPE Class 4 License (suggested, not required).Ability to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions.Strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Work Environment

This role is based in a clean and well-maintained private facility. Employees may be exposed to varying noise levels and will perform duties both indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions. The position requires availability for first (7:00 AM-3:00 PM), second (3:00 PM-11:00 PM), and third shifts (11:00 PM-7:00 AM), including occasional weekends and holidays. Employees may be required to remain on duty beyond normal hours during emergencies or other extended periods.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
