Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Job Description

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for entering vacant units to perform necessary repairs to prepare them for new tenants. Tasks include patching, spackling, painting, changing light fixtures, replacing broken shower bars, installing new vanities, fixing leaky faucets, and replacing toilets. Although candidates do not need to have experience with every task, a well-rounded skill set is preferred.

ResponsibilitiesPerform patch, spackle, and paint work in vacant units.Replace light fixtures and repair electrical components such as re-wiring fans.Conduct minor plumbing repairs, including fixing leaky faucets and replacing toilets.Install new vanities and repair broken shower bars.Address HVAC issues and perform general labor tasks as needed.Essential SkillsExperience in plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work.Ability to patch, spackle, and paint.Capability to perform drywall repairs.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to work autonomously.Strong job tenure.Positive attitude and strong work ethic.Work Environment

The role is within a real estate property company, offering a stable Monday to Friday schedule from 8 am to 5 pm with a one-hour unpaid lunch break. The work environment involves hands-on tasks across various maintenance disciplines.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
