Job Description
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical systems within our industrial plant. This includes performing preventive maintenance, emergency breakdown support, and the installation of new equipment. You will work closely with various systems, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems, to ensure optimal operation.
ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, and observing operations.Conduct emergency and breakdown maintenance to support plant operations.Accurately use measurement and test equipment.Execute electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam system repairs and installations.Install wire and conduit for equipment such as conveyors and programmable controllers.Replace faulty electrical components like relays, switches, and motors.Diagnose and repair or replace faulty electronic components, including printed circuit boards.Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems.Troubleshoot AC and DC drives.Read and interpret electrical block diagrams, schematics, and PLC ladder logic.Maintain clean and organized work areas.Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance records and paperwork.Essential SkillsLME/PJ/General Journeyman Electrician LicenseStrong electrical aptitudeMechanical knowledge and experienceAbility to pass advanced industrial skills and instrumentation/electrician knowledge testProficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solvingSelf-motivated and able to follow through with responsibilitiesAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in welding and metal fabrication (training available)Ability to maintain teamwork with other associatesWillingness to perform other duties as assigned by supervisionWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is an industrial plant with large facilities, including office spaces and production floors filled with machines and production lines. It can be loud at times with forklifts operating, but the facility remains clean and orderly. The position involves shift work, including swing shifts from 3 pm to 11 pm and night shifts from 11 pm to 7 am, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.

The pay range for this position is $92123.20 - $99403.20/yr.
