Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Electrician for a 1st shift position. In this role, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting schematics and symbols, installing and maintaining a variety of machinery, and diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues. You will work with equipment ranging from hoists to CNC machines, ensuring all systems are functioning optimally.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret schematics and symbols to install and maintain machinery.Run and bend conduit for new installations.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair 480v 3-phase control circuits.Read ladder logic and troubleshoot RSLogix/PLCs, including checking inputs/outputs and making minor edits.Perform maintenance on motor starters, motor controllers, VFDs, and other electrical components.Work efficiently with minimal supervision and maintain a positive attitude.

Essential Skills

7+ years of industrial mechanical troubleshooting experience, including hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and pumps.5+ years of experience in heavy industrial electrical troubleshooting with 480v 3-phase systems.5+ years of experience installing new machines and circuits, running and bending conduit.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and symbols.Experience with troubleshooting and repairing motor starters, motor controllers, and VFDs.Proficiency in reading and interpreting ladder logic and PLC troubleshooting and programming.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience reading and interpreting European schematics.Experience troubleshooting CNC machinery.Familiarity with CMMS systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Middlebury, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
