Job Description
An automotive manufacturing facility is seeking experienced maintenance technicians to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. The role is focused on providing additional maintenance support to help reduce overtime within the facility.
ResponsibilitiesRepair and troubleshoot electrical control circuits, including disassembling units and replacing components.Diagnose and repair or replace parts, making necessary adjustments.Inspect machinery to ensure proper operation.Perform diagnostics on PLC I/O systems.Write reports using digital CMMS programs.Conduct all necessary skills required by other specialists.Perform manufacturer-recommended preventive maintenance on equipment.Diagnose hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Essential Skills4+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred, but candidates with 2 years of experience will be considered.Ability to troubleshoot electronic control circuits.Understanding of safety lock out/tag out procedures.Capable of planning and executing complex tasks with limited guidance.Moderate physical effort required, including moving lightweight materials in challenging positions.Thorough knowledge of electrical logic.Ability to perform general air conditioning service work.High school diploma or equivalent.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with electrical, mechanical, and maintenance technician roles.Skills in troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, repair, and preventive maintenance.PLC troubleshooting experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work at a leading automotive parts manufacturing company that supplies major auto manufacturers in the region. The facility is not climate-controlled and can become very hot during the summer. Shifts are available in two patterns: 7am - 7pm Sunday through Tuesday with every other Wednesday, and 7am - 7pm Thursday through Saturday with every other Wednesday. Initial training will be conducted on the first shift before being placed on your designated shift. Each shift operates with a team size of 7.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
