Job Description
We are seeking an experienced industrial maintenance electrician to join our team. This position requires a balance of 70% electrical work and 30% mechanical tasks, including some building maintenance. Your role will encompass a variety of tasks from mechanical repairs on equipment like coating rooms, ovens, incinerators, and conveyor lines, to electrical troubleshooting up to 480v, relays, control panels, and motors.
ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical repairs on pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, motors, barrings, bushings, cylinders, valves, and conveyors.Conduct electrical troubleshooting up to 480v and handle faults, relays, control panels, and motors.Engage in basic machining using Bridgeports Mills and Lathes.Execute building maintenance tasks such as painting and plumbing.Perform MIG and Stick welding on mild/cold rolled steel.Carry out machine installations and installations.Read blueprints and schematics for troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.Participate in general shop clean-up activities.Why Work Here1st shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.Joining our team offers a direct hire position with the opportunity to be part of the United Steel Workers union, receiving weekly pay in a clean facility.You'll work in a small shop alongside 25 employees and 5 other technicians in the maintenance department.Benefits begin after 90 days probationary period, including a $500 sign-on bonus, 12 paid holidays, yearly pay increases, and uniforms with a boot allowance.We offer a pension plan and free benefits for employees claiming themselves only, with minimal costs for dependents.
