Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
Job Description

As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance activities, emergency/breakdown maintenance, and various electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam system repairs and installations. You will also be tasked with installing wires and conduits for new and existing equipment, diagnosing and repairing faulty components, and troubleshooting drives and systems.

ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components, and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels.Perform emergency/breakdown maintenance as necessary to support plant operations.Accurately use measurement and test equipment.Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed.Install wire and conduit for new and existing equipment such as conveyors, programmable controllers, converting and corrugating machinery.Replace faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches, and motors, and position sensing devices such as proximity switch timers, scanners, and photoelectric devices.Diagnose and repair/replace faulty electronic components such as printed circuit boards.Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems.Troubleshoot drives, i.e., AC and DC.Read electrical block diagrams, schematics as well as PLC ladder logic.Maintain clean and organized work areas, and cleanup work areas as part of completing assigned tasks.Accurately and completely prepare and maintain maintenance records and other paperwork.Essential SkillsLME/PJ/General Journeyman Electrician License - required.Strong Electrical Aptitude.Mechanical knowledge and experience.Ability to pass an advanced industrial skills and instrumentation/electrician knowledge test prior to the interview process.Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Self-motivated and able to follow through to completion with assigned responsibilities.Teamwork and collaboration with other associates.Additional Skills & QualificationsWelding and metal fabrication experience is a plus (training available).Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This role is based in an industrial plant environment. The facility includes large production floors with many machines and production lines, which can be loud at times with forklifts driving around. However, it is a clean and orderly facility. Shifts available are Swing (3pm - 11pm) and Night (11pm - 7am) from Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $92123.20 - $99403.20/yr.
