Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to perform diagnostics on machines and ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems. This role requires the ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical and electronic breakdowns, work with blueprints and schematics, and perform maintenance on various equipment.

ResponsibilitiesConduct diagnostics on machines and equipment.Run conduit and pull wire as needed.Service electrical panels and breakers.Work from blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.Troubleshoot all electrical and electronic breakdowns.Replace 3-phase motors, control panels, and gauges.Replace brushes and bearings for motors, tachometers, and generators.Install, replace, and repair microprocessors, programmable controllers, solid-state controls, temperature controls, motors, and gauges.Use electrical and electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, voltmeters, ammeters, meggers, digital meters, calibration apparatus, and laptop computers.Essential SkillsElectrical maintenancePLC troubleshootingWorking knowledge of electrical panels and 3-phase motorsAbility to use voltmeters and other electrical test equipmentAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required; maintenance associates degree preferred.3-5 years of experience if no degree is held.Familiarity with Fanuc robots is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment includes both air-conditioned and hotter areas, with some parts of the plant being clean and others greasy. You will join a close-knit team of 23 maintenance technicians, with the opportunity to work alongside supportive colleagues. The dress code requires steel toe boots, and uniforms are provided. Safety prescription glasses are supplied every two years if needed. This position is for the 3rd shift from 10:50 pm to 6:50 am, with some required overtime. All necessary tools are provided.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $74880.00 - $74880.00/yr.
